Skip Planed Oak — Engineered

Engineered — a thick reclaimed wear layer over a dimensionally-stable core, so this same face goes down over concrete, radiant heat or a basement slab without cupping, in wider widths and longer lengths. One light pass of the planer shaves the high spots clean while leaving the original weathered surface in the lows — half refined, half rustic, all texture. It takes a herringbone or chevron beautifully, catching light across the two planes. Character without the roughness.
