Engineered — a thick reclaimed wear layer over a dimensionally-stable core, so this same face goes down over concrete, radiant heat or a basement slab without cupping, in wider widths and longer lengths. The original American wide-plank floor — soft, creamy, knotty pine pulled from the attics and subfloors of New England farmhouses. It dents and burnishes into a honeyed patina that only looks better with a family on it. Wide boards, long lengths, and all the character a painted colonial or a modern loft could want.
